S.S. John Bidwell

The S.S. John Bidwell is a 7,176 ton liberty ship that laid it’s keel November 14th, 1942. She was launched on December 19th, 1942. Sometime after World War II in 1945 after her last voyage, she had been lying in Philadelphia shipyard. She was broken up in 1960.

Dominic Langiano (Born: 1923) was 3rd cook on this vessel Feb of 1945 during World War II sailing from Valparaiso, Chile to New York.
