The S.S. Koln built in 1899 by J.C. Tecklenborg for North German Lloyd and was launched on July 24th, 1899. She sailed from Bremen to Galvestone on October 20th, 1899 on her maiden voyage. Her first Bremen to America voyage was in December 1899 landing in Baltimore and her first Bremen to New York journey was in January 1902. She continued the Bremen to assorted ports in America until 1917 when the vessel was seized by U.S. authorities in Boston. She was then renamed the S.S. Amphion and was used for the U.S. Government. She was scrapped in 1923.
