S.S. Queen of Bermuda


The Queen of Bermuda was a Furness Line ship built in 1933 to serve passage between New York-Bermuda running a shuttle service with it's sister ship the S.S Monarch of Bermuda. During World War II, she was used as an Army Merchant Crusier and later a troop ship until 1947. In 1961 in Belfast, the ship was rebuilt and resumed the New York-Bermuda service line by 1962. The vessel was scrapped in December of 1966.
