Dohm, Germany

Dohm is a sub-community of the city of Burscheid in the Rheinisch-Bergischer District in the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, West Germany. The Dohm area was home of the Hausman's before immigrating to America. Johan Daniel Hausman, born about 1770, is the eldest documented relative currently in the family tree. His name can be found on the baptism record was of my 5x Great Grandpa Johanne Adolph Hausman born 1796. Unfortunately, the Dohm village and Burscheid are small enough that there is not a lot of information online on their history.
