Helmkamp Family 8MM Reels
A while back, I was given several old 8MM film reels that contained family video footage that belonged to my Grandparents. I was able to take the reels, digitize them, and splice them together to make a full featured presentation. I am very thankful they could be preserved before they deteriorated.
Rita's Pescolamazza Tour
In October 2017 as a birthday present, my good friend and distant cousin Rita Tresca who lives in Italy, traveled to the comune of my Great Great Grandparents in Pescolamazza, Italy (known today as Pesco Sannita) and gave me a video tour of the town and their family home. The address of the family home in Italy was 3 Via Cappella, Pescolamazza, Italy. This was their last Italian address which they lived at from 1892 until 1913 when they made the great expedition to America.
Lois Helmkamp Funeral Service Presentation (2008)
This is the slide show presentation that was presented at my Grandma Lois' funeral service. My older brother Jack did a fantastic job creating it. Grandma Lois was a saint and the best grandma a kid could have. Her passing is what sparked my ancestry interest and she will be forever missed.
